Net wealth tax and valuation discounts

Net wealth tax is a tax that must be paid to the municipality and the state. It’s assessed based on your net wealth. Net wealth is the value of your assets, such as real property, bank deposits, shares, and business capital after deductions have been made for valuation discounts and debt.

Valuation discounts reduce the taxable value of your wealth, and they are calculated automatically in the tax return.

The valuation discount only includes assets owned directly by the taxpayer.

Such asset may be housing and commercial property, shares, etc. and fixed assets.
