If you need to pay advance tax, you will receive a giro slip for paying the assessed tax when the tax is calculated to be NOK 10,000 or more. Advance tax will generally be split between four periods per year. If you need to make additional tax payments, you should use the account number for Svalbard. You can also create your own KID number for payments.

The party that is liable to pay tax to Svalbard will receive a separate tax assessment from Svalbard.
