Why am I receiving this error message 

You specified information about total basis under reporting duty threshold.  
You should not specify information about total basis under reporting duty threshold 
for the period you submitted the a-melding. 

 

You may have received the error message because you have: 

• specified the wrong month for the a-melding 
• stated information about total basis under reporting duty threshold.  
  Information about total basis under reporting duty threshold should not be reported in periods before 2025-01. 

 

Do I have to correct the error 

Yes, the a-melding contains serious errors and/or omissions which you must correct. The a-melding has been rejected. 

You must correct the error by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

How to correct the error 

1. Delete information concerning total basis under reporting duty threshold in the a-melding before 2025-01 or change the month that the a-melding concerns.  
    
2. Submit the a-melding when you have corrected the error. If you use a payroll system, check with your system supplier if you are not sure how to make corrections in your system.
